Grief can overshadow our lives and make us feel alone and separate. Grief comes in many forms and tends to overlap with other experiences of loss. Often we may feel entangled in the complex nature of the grieving process and struggle to find healthy expression and relief from its intensity. In this daylong workshop we will create a space to express grief and explore resilience through experiential exercises with horses, shared connection, and meaning making.
Details: All experiences with loss are welcome. You will be welcomed into a herd of horses and invited into a safe space to explore and share what’s alive for you and what you need to heal. No horse experience is necessary.
About your facilitator: Rachel Cheatie Seely, MA, LPC, is a trauma and grief informed psychotherapist and mindfulness instructor. She offers a mind/body, relational approach in her work with humans and horse partners. Rachel has supported people facing death and loss, bereavement, health challenges, traumatic events, relationship and attachment issues, and life transitions. She feels inspired by the human spirit and the wakeful heart within each of us.
