Pelvic Healing on the Back of a Horse
4 week group for healing pelvic trauma through riding horses.
- Experienced pelvic trauma due to sexual violation, childbirth, surgery or other injury?
- Feel disconnected, embarrassed or even shameful about your pelvic bowl area?
- Do you describe this area of your body as “dead”, unresponsive, or un-known?
In this 6 week experiential group, you will re-connect with, heal and find ways to celebrate your “seat”, your pelvic bowl and center of your body.

On the backs of our gentle and steady horses, you will connect with the body of another being and move without effort. By sharing this powerful experience with others, creating art, and journaling, healing can begin.
I was heartened to hear the words the ladies used to describe me after my “out of this world” experience on the back of the horse. In some ways, it feels like an experience against all odds – my physical limitations often create barriers that I allow to exist. It’s time for me to bring down those barriers and think outside the box – look for different and creative solutions to situations and the possibilities will appear and the opportunities to resolve the issues are beyond all imagination. A life filled with gratitude, love and the magic of wonder expand to infinity. — M. S.
